‘Swamp People’ Star Passed Away

Junior Edwards, one of the original stars of the History Channel’s Swamp People, has d**d, according to a Facebook post from his grandson and co-star, “Little” Willie Edwards.
The exact date of Junior’s d**th and his cause of death have not been shared publicly. Earlier this month, his grandson mentioned that Junior had been in poor health. His age at the time of d**th is also unknown.
“Rest easy pawpaw….i know your probably running your hoop nets or doing something crazy inside those pearly gates…you will be extremely missed pawpaw we love you more than anything!!! Until we meet again ”
Junior Edwards was a well-known alligator hunter and reality TV star from Louisiana, best recognized for his role on the History Channel’s Swamp People. He spent over 40 years living off the land, hunting gators and fishing in the Atchafalaya Basin.
Junior became a fan favorite when the show premiered in 2010, thanks to his tough, no-nonsense attitude and deep knowledge of the swamp. He appeared regularly through Season 6 and returned briefly in Season 12.
Outside of gator hunting, Junior worked with his wife Theresa as a commercial fisherman. The two caught thousands of pounds of fish each year using hoop nets, starting their days early and working hard to provide for their family. Junior also passed down his skills to his son and grandson, continuing a long family tradition of swamp life.
