A copy of a lewd birthday letter that Donald Trump allegedly sent to Jeffrey Epstein has been released by US lawmakers.
House Democrats shared the note – which Trump has denied writing – on X more than a month-and-a-half after it was first reported to exist.
The letter includes Trump’s signature as well as text inside the outline of a naked woman.
‘HERE IT IS: We got Trump’s birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein that the President said doesn’t exist,’ wrote House Democrats in the X post on Monday afternoon.

‘Trump talks about a “wonderful secret” the two of them shared. What is he hiding? Release the files!’
The text inside the drawing of the woman starts with words from a voice over stating, ‘There must be more to life than having everything.’
It continues with Trump and Epstein agreeing that they know what it is, but won’t tell each other. That text appears near doodles resembling the breasts of a woman.
Trump goes on to allegedly say: ‘We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.’

‘Yes we do, come to think of it,’ Epstein allegedly says.
The text has Trump saying ‘enigmas never age’ and Epstein replying that it was ‘clear to me the last time I saw you’.
Trump allegedly closes with: ‘A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday—and may every day be another wonderful secret.’
It is signed ‘Donald J Trump’ along with his signature with his trademark thick marker below the hips of the woman’s outline.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Metro.
Trump has not addressed the letter on his Truth Social platform.
But the president has previously called the letter ‘nonexistent’ and ‘fake’ and sued The Wall Street Journal, which was the first to report it in mid-July. The newspaper claimed that Trump’s letter was in a book compiled for Epstein’s birthday in 2003.
Democratic Rep Robert Garcia, who is a ranking member on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, wrote on X: ‘We got the Epstein note Trump says doesn’t exist. Time to end this White House cover-up.’

A Democratic member of the committee, Rep Melanie Stansburg, asked on X: ‘What “wonderful secret” is Donald J. Trump hiding? Is this why he hasn’t released the files?’
