Artist Let People Do Anything to Her for 6 Hours – What Really Happened Shocked Everyone

In one of the most disturbing and powerful performance art pieces ever attempted, Marina Abramović stood still for 6 hours while spectators were told they could do anything they wanted to her.

She laid out 72 objects – including a feather, lipstick, scissors… and even a loaded gun.

At first, people were hesitant. Then, things escalated fast.

Clothes were cut. Words were carved into her skin. A gun was placed to her head. No one intervened.

By the end, Abramović was physically and emotionally torn – and the audience? Changed forever.
