Five years after falling out with Kim Kardashian, Larsa Pippen revealed if the Kardashians star is still the godmother to her and ex Scottie Pippen’s 16-year-old daughter Sophia Pippen.
Larsa Pippen is keeping it civil with Kim Kardashian.
That’s why the Real Housewives of Miami star has no plans to name a new godmother to her 16-year-old daughter Sophia Pippen despite falling out with the SKIMS founder more than five years ago.
I feel like Sophia has a good relationship with Kim,” Larsa shared during her latest appearance on The Jason Lee Show, explaining how the teen—who she shares with ex-husband Scottie Pippen—still “hangs out” with the Kardashians. “They’re loving to her, so I feel like I don’t want to tarnish that. It’s fine.”
I’m not the same person I was yesterday,” the 51-year-old explained to host Jason Lee, “and I feel like I’m good.”
Fans caught wind of the pair’s rift back in 2020, when Instagram users noticed that Kim and her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian had all stopped following Larsa.
While Larsa has since suggested that Kim’s ex Kanye West played a role in their fallout, a source close to the Kardashians star previously told E! News that the duo “naturally grew apart over a period of time.”
“Kim is focused on matters at home,” the insider shared in 2020. “They are just in a different place in their lives and are not as close as they used to be.”
The source also explained that Kim had no ill will toward Larsa when she unfollowed her social media account.

“For Kim’s own mental health she wanted to narrow down what was showing up on her feed,” the insider said. “There are a lot of people she is still friends with who she doesn’t follow on social media.”
And for what it’s worth, Larsa wasn’t offended by the unfollowing.
“I love her and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle,” she said during a 2022 episode of RHOM. “I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship.”
