In 2010, April Webster and Nathan Fishbourne made headlines as Britain’s youngest parents. Both were just 14 years old when their son, Jamie, was born. April had become pregnant at 13 and discovered it only a day before her 14th birthday. The young couple, classmates at St. Cenydd School in Caerphilly, South Wales, had been in a typical teenage relationship, unaware of the life-changing responsibility ahead.

April was initially too embarrassed to tell her parents about the pregnancy, but with their support, she carried the baby to term.
