On Wednesday, August 6, Clarkson announced she would postpone the remaining dates of her Las Vegas Studio Sessions. She explained that her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, has been ill. Clarkson shared this news on Instagram and said she needs to be fully present for their children during this difficult time.

Concerns About the Seriousness of the Situation

Several fans expressed worry about the seriousness of Blackstock’s condition. One said, “It must be serious for her to say this. This is not the first time Clarkson has faced challenges with her residency. On July 4, she canceled the opening night of her “Studio Sessions” just 90 minutes before showtime. She cited vocal strain as the reason.

They finalized their divorce in 2022 after a lengthy legal battle. The settlement included a one-time payment to Blackstock and ongoing monthly child support of $45,601. It also required mutual agreement to vaccinate their children against COVID-19.
