Kelly Ripa caught both viewers and her husband, Mark Consuelos, off guard during a recent episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark” when she brought up the topic of divorce live on air.

However, when she brought the topic up with her husband, he had an immediate reaction.
I was talking to Mark about it, and he got very defensive,” she admitted, much to the amusement of the audience.
Consuelos, 53, chimed in, recalling how the conversation had started.
“You came home from the trip and you were like, ‘I read this amazing article!’” he said, clearly still processing the unexpected discussion.
As the conversation unfolded, Ripa jokingly remarked that the article was written so persuasively that it made her consider a “gray divorce” herself. While her humor was evident, the exchange sparked debate among viewers, with reactions ranging from laughter to concern over her comments.
